The Rev. Nancy Willet was called as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Uvalde on June 28, 2009. Nancy received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from Texas A & M University-Commerce. In May of 2005 she received her Master of Divinity magna cum laude from Perkins School of Theology (SMU) in Dallas, TX, and was ordained in October of that same year. Nancy came to our church after serving as Associate Pastor of a small church in El Paso, TX.

Nancy and her husband Bob are not native Texans, but have lived in Texas more years of their lives than not! They have three grown children, Danny, Carol, and Keith, and one little dog, Hampton. Bob is a retired computer programmer and enjoys spending time riding his motorcycle through the Hill Country. You can often spot Nancy riding behind him, as this is one of her favorite pastimes, too.
